Below is a link to a story about antiwar activist Mick Kelly being arrested
on June 3, while leafleting for the Sept. 1 antiwar March on the RNC, outside the Xcel Center victory rally by Obama, and then the city of St. Paul "apologizing" the next day. He was accused of "peddling without a license," which he was not doing,
while there were many people who were peddling T-shirts, brats etc.

Activists in Minnesota have seen increased police surveillance of antiwar actions
in the lead up to September's demonstration. This includes more videotaping,
mounted police, bicycle police, helicopters etc. Also police "liason" officers
have approached activists asking about activist groups that do not have affiliates
in the Twin Cities.
