Gee, Yossi, I thought you'd parted company with Alan Woods
over the Palestinian issue. But now it seems you have also
parted company with them over the class nature of the state
in Cuba. So now you're more like the ISO, the British SWP,
Sam Farber, and that wing of the Trotskist world. You've
gone down an unfortunate path. Woods and his group thinks
Cuba has a workers state, whatever their criticism, but
you, evidently, don't even think that! Hell of a loss,

Of course we have to defend Cuba against imperialism. To demand the removal
of the sanctions bur we have to tell the truth. Cuba is not socialism nor a
workers state in any form or shape. As I wrote before Israel until at least
was considered a socialist society because most economy was nationalized.
But it was never any thing but a capitalist state. During second world war
British imperialism nationalized many industries this did not make it a a
workers state.

Marx and Engles already wrote that the tendency of capitalism is to become
one capital and possible under one state. The imperialists try their best not
to move any more to full concentration and accumulation of capital because
of their fear of the working class and as Lenin already explained the long
before it will happen the working class will take power.

However, the mistake that most people who believe that nationalized
economy=socialism is because they confuse the form of property with the
relationship of production. The working class in Cuba is exploited by the
ruling class that control the state. Now the begin to move to privatization.
We saw it in the former USSR, East Europe, China and Vietnam.
