Yes-- another example of  revolutionists attempting to "consolidate" the 
power of the revolution by undercutting the "left wing."  Of course the real 
power for the revolution was in the Commune which Robespierre had attacked 
earlier only to attempt to seek refuge within when the tide turned on him.
