[Marxism] Is Lebanon on the verge of a new fighting?

Hezbollah has been part of previous coalition governments
in Lebanon as well. It's always been my impression that
the purpose of a "cease-fire" in Lebanon is basically so
that the different parties who are opposed to one another
can take time out to regroup their forces, get in a bit
of rest and relaxation, re-load their weapons, and get
ready for the next round of fighting.

So long as neither side is strong enough to completely
dominate the other, such struggles are inevitable, but
one difference lately is that the Israeli side, and its
parallels in Lebanon, the Maronite Christians, seem to
have been losing ground. That's what the outcome of the
Israeli invasion of Lebanon, fought to a standstill by
Hezbollah, seemed to signify.
