The Grantites, once (long ago) supporters of Pablo and Germain (Raptis
and Mandel) have succeeded where their sometime leaders failed--
achieving entrism (and not, this time, *sui generis*) into (what even
the French Pabloites now recognize as the moribond) PCF.
Congratulations!

Their rant includes this: "Longtemps avant sa dissolution, la LCR se
caractérisait par une certaine désinvolture à l’égard des questions de
théorie et de programme." ("for a long time preceding its dissolution
the LCR was characterized by a certain lack of interest in matters of
program and theory"). Certainly true, but what, if not
"désinvolture," does this indicate: "L’effondrement de l’URSS et des
autres régimes totalitaires, en Europe de l’Est?" ("The collapse of
the USSR and the other East-European totalitarian regimes.")
Degenerate Workers' State? State Capitalism? Bureaucratic
Collectivism? The theoretical questions, once so important for all
Trotskyists, disappear and we are left with--the commonplace purely
(and not very accurately) descriptive bourgeois term "totalitarian."
