Well, this is good news but it has little to do with the matter at
hand, which was expressed in this call from the WWP:
> Socialists across the world need to unite. The need for such unity is all the more urgent here in the U.S.,
> because the capitalist system here remains at the center of world imperialism. A socialist front of
> organizations, parties and individuals -- whose agreement on fundamental questions outweighs
> whatever differences they might have – could greatly advance the work of revolutionaries on many levels.
"A socialist front of organizations, parties and individuals" is
not a united front of the kind involving the Bay Area action, or
the antiwar movement of the 1960s. It is much more related to
efforts like the Socialist Alliance that are not likely to occur
in the USA for a variety of reasons, not the least of which is the
WWP call for a "a defense of revolutionary governments like Cuba
and the Democratic People's Republic of Korea." This would
obviously exclude the largest and most important group on the
left, the ISO.
