[Marxism] computer problem

Michael suggested: "Try downloading malwarebytes as a first step." Michael is correct, but there is an important step before running malware bytes. The particular virus described is running in the deep background and you have to stop it from running before you can remove it. To do that, you need to use a "rootkit" disabler like Kaspersky Anti-rootkit TDSSKiller. Here is a link to the TDS/Malware bytes process that helped me a while back (http://home.comcast.net/~supportcd/MalwareRemoval.html) there are other such guides, so, anyone like it is good.

It's best to run the TDSSkiller, CCleaner, and Malwarebytes initially from a flash or jumpdrive (for easy storage in case you need to do it again). It is suggested in the Guide that you change your passwords on various sites and programs after successful removal--a good suggestion, especially if you are running an independent computer that isn't an enterprise or university one that periodically requires changing passwords anyway.
Best of luck
