Professor Kowalik was very helpful to us in terms of providing us with
comments and advice for a recent writing project we did on Friedrich
Hayek.  We also made good use of his 1994 collection of Oskar Lange's
writings, "Economic Theory and Market Socialism : Selected Essays of
Oskar Lange," when writing on the socialist calculation debate between
Hayek and Lange.  Professor Kowalik was intrigued by our writing on the
socialist calculation debate between Hayek and Otto Neurath, especially
concerning those points where Neurath's ideas converged with those of
