Ambiguity is correct. I think the show is fascinating and it 'holds'
the viewer. As Tom noted, it's extremely well acted and scripted. The
"good guys" being the CIA agents are not so clearly "good". The motive
change for the protagonist is not Islam but the murder, clearly shown,
by a U.S. drone strike on a compound with children in it. Nothing is
held back from this show. In fact, even the Islamophobia is quite
real. NOT to show it as part of the theme would be totally fake.
