Yes, that's right, and this fact (together with a rising   postwar economy up to around 1973) largely ended labour union militancy.
Taft-Hartley also made unlawful some of organzized labour's most succesful tactics (sit-it strike and the secondary boycott) from the Thirties.

-Let's not forget the the unions made their peace with Taft Hartley pretty quickly and used part of it to get rid of the left-led unions and leftists in their midsts.
