Here's the list of demands and action steps voted on by the Occupy the
Capitol GA. These were discussed IN the Capitol during the Occupation:

Demands on the State:

1) Support and help pass the Millionaire's Tax
2) Cancel all student debt
3) Democratize the UC Regents and CSU Trustees
4) Fully fund all levels of public education
5) Amend Prop. 13 (move to a split roll tax)

Next Steps:

Organize to pass/support the Millionaires' Tax
Statewide conference to defend and restore education and social services
Campaign to restore affirmative action/Prop 209
Campaign in support of undocumented students and ethnic studies
Support a potential CFA strike at the CSUs
Form a student union
Participate in the May 1st protest actions/general strike
Build for a statewide student strike
Mobilize for the upcoming UC Regents meetings
Build a statewide and national network
Campaign against the Student Success Task Force
Organize for a 3 day occupation of the capitol
