Domitila Barrios de Chungara died on March 13th at the age of 74 in 
Cochabamba.  Domitila was a mineworkers' organizer and feminist, who cut 
her political teeth organizing miners' wives at the large Siglo XX tin 
mine in Bolivia.  She is known in the US largely through her 
autobiography, *Let Me Speak!: Testimony of Domitila, a Woman of the 
Bolivian Mines*  Bolivian president Evo Morales decreed 3 days of 
mourning in her honor.
