1.re the character of German revolutions: don't miss Engels' "Role of Force
in History":

the class forces he was dealing with

2. re whether the Chibber attack on subaltern studies and more broadly
postcolonialism matters: There were at least 200 people at the debate.
Probably 80% South Asian, some of them dedicated activists here and/or back
home.
Of course it matters to us what theory these comrades hold!
