I do have a problem with this:

In fact we do need a Bolshevik type party but not in the narrow sense 
understood by groups like the SWP.

And beyond revolutionary socialists politics *are* suited to capitalism 
in the 21st century. I am generally put off by a character named David 
Rowlands, who insists on defending the American SWP on the Internet but 
I think he hit the nail on the head with this recent comment on my blog:

"Revolutions, Cecilieaux, do not happen as a matter of choice, but 
rather because there is no choice left."
