The actual facts here are Maduro was granted a 12 month enabling law (by
the required three-fifths majority of National Assembly) allowing him to
pass decrees around specific targets of dealing with the economic sabotage
and corruption (the anti-corruption measures already pushed under Maduro
have not just been targetting opposition, but also PSUV officials). Maduro
remains bound by the constitution and any measure he passes can be
rescinded by a vote in the National Assembly, which continues functioning
as before.

If serious measures against capitalist sabotage are combined with
mobilisation of the grassroots, it could lead to a decisive breakthrough.
Or, as is probably likely, ongoing contradictory situation of some progress
 and much mess.
