Well, these people don't have it easy. A punitive strike against Syrian 
involving a significant degrading of the "asymmetrical" advantages it 
enjoys against the rebels might lead to its unraveling. All the chatter 
about how al-Assad was winning the war neglects to take into account 
that without air power the edifice would likely crumble within weeks, 
just as was the case in Libya. After the unruly Libyans failed to live 
up to expectations that they would behave like housebroken dogs, 
American imperialism has suffered buyer's remorse.
