This article of course showed the complete opposite of what you claim 
here. So I assume you were being sarcastic. In that case, your point is 
unclear. Would it be a good thing if they were under an "iron hand" that 
imperialism could control, and which in turn could control the 
revolutionary forces on the ground?

Surely that misses the whole point - the US is still to send even a 
rifle, despite explicitly saying a few months ago that they would (send 
a few rifles), not because there aren't elements of a pliant leadership 
among the exile "leadership" (they're are, though by no means all), but 
because, as every single report has shown, they've got hardly any 
authority on the ground over the actual fighters. That seems a very god 
thing to me.
