Huh? The Communist Party had hundreds of thousands of members and 
routinely got 10 percent of the vote. Germany in 1926 was more stable 
than it was in 1923 but the capitalist class could remember what things 
were like only 3 years earlier. If Germany had managed to avoid the 
Great Depression, the bourgeoisie would not have opted for Hitler. 
Ukraine is a basket case economically today but there is no equivalent 
of the CP in the Weimar Republic. Fascist groups today are mostly about 
victimizing immigrant workers, not going after the heavy battalions of 
labor. That may change down the road but in a way within that danger 
lies opportunity.
