[Marxism] The Palestinian Capitalists That Have Gone Too Far

This article has lots of crucial info on the Palestinian bourgeoisie.
But its analysis is fatally flawed by its beginning -- which posits a
fictional golden age when noncorrupt capitalists supposedly played a
progressive role in the struggle -- and its end, which makes suggestions
for meaningless modest reforms to capital's functioning (including in the
liberal/anarchist "Resistance Economy" document linked to).
See in contrast Adam Hanieh's explanation that there is today no role for a
supposedly-progressive national bourgeoisie (he uses Egypt's Sabahhi as an
example, but it applies throughout the region). See also my Facebook note
yesterday on the topic.
