[Marxism] The people's climate march in Canberra

These marches were of the same size as the huge rallies before the 2nd Gulf
War. Those marches were ignored and no peace movement rose subsequently.

Will the same fate befall the climate change movement? Impossible to tell,
really. But at a guess I think not. Principally, because we are further
down the road towards a severe crisis of legitimacy.

Our leaders appear more and more detached from the lived experience of the
vast majority. In the mean time the Number One Hegemon, the USA, seems
crazier and crazier. Trump, Carson & co seem barking mad, not to put too
fine a point on it.

My feeling is that the next economic crisis will be a down turn too far.
That will create two, three many Syrizas and then it will be a case of no
more water, the fire next time.
