The two areas where Trump is allegedly right about the Middle East is A)
recognizing that US interventions are a failure, something that is now an
obvious fact and widely accepted even among the Republican Party, and B)
that the US' aid to Syrian rebels falls into the hands of people that the
US doesn't like.

It's a weird two things to use as a measure of whether or not someone is
"right about the Middle East," given that Trump admits he has no idea who
Hezbollah or Hamas are: http://www.haaretz.com/world-news/1.674492

He also opposes the Iran Deal. He's all over the place, and apparently so
is Patrick Cockburn. Very sad, remember when this guy was a much better
writer.
