[Marxism] Sean McLoughlin

Although Eamon de Valera is generally recorded as the senior surviving
commandant of the 1916 Easter Rising, this is not the case.

When Connolly was wounded and eventually couldn't command the armed forces
of the Rising, with the consent of other leaders in the GPO he appointed
Sean McLoughlin as commandant-general.

McLoughlin is a fascinating, largely-forgotten figure - well, until
recently.

Although McLoughlin came from the Irish Volunteers rather than Connolly's
Citizen Army, he had a militant trade union background. After the Rising,
he went on to be heavily involved in attempting to form a revolutionary
party in Ireland, inspired both by Connolly and the Russian Revolution.
