On this Labor Day, workers are caught in a squeeze. The **real** cost of
living has increased by over 50% over the last ten years, (vs. the faked
method of figuring it) while wages have barely increased by 18.5%. Coupled
with relatively full employment, this has meant increased on-the-job
militancy and more strikes. The rank and file are also forced to confront
the employer-friendly policies of their own leaders. They will have to
organize a battle on two fronts: Against the employers and against their
own leadership. Not an easy task. But they will be doing this in the
context of the next wave of protests against Trump, something that the
working class fighters should be leading.
