That's crucial.

One of the implicit core tenets of the Kurdish acolytes of Murray
Bookchin is a live and let live attitude toward the bloodiest
dictatorship of the 21st century. Everything was about creating a
utopian experiment that would be defended against Erdogan and Sunni
jihadists. So what would happen when the last "jihadist" was either
disarmed or killed? It should be obvious. Assad would finally move
against Rojova since he could not tolerate a "liberated" region inside
Syria even though it had no intention of launching a genuine revolution
that could allow every Syria to enjoy the purported freedoms that the
utopian experiment allowed. The Kurds keep getting into these alliances
with imperialism that backfire. You'd think they have learned by now.
