Syria Call seems to be a supporter of the Turkish invasion of northeastern Syria, so I would not consider them a reliable source of information.

Some have argued that the YPG turned to Assad out of pure necessity. Under
the guns of Turkey's attack, what choice do they have, it is asked. It's
difficult to dismiss that argument. However, this article, if accurate,
shows that the collaboration goes far beyond that. According to this
report, the YPG is collaborating with Assad's forces in arresting
protesters. And we have to keep in mind that being arrested by Assad's
forces most likely means torture and very possibly death. Sorry, there is
absolutely no justification for this betrayal.
