Following are two positions available at the Community Services Council,
as well as an update on the position available at the Rape
  Recovery Center.


  CSC has 2 openings for Volunteer Coordinator.  The person in this
position recruits volunteers for CSC programs; Utah Food Bank, 211
  Info Bank, LifeCare Bank and Ability Bank.  Recruitment involves
public speaking, extensive contact with schools, churches,
organizations,
  corporations, businesses and individuals.  The Volunteer Coordinator
also takes calls regarding volunteer scheduling and other questions;
  conducts tours of the CSC facility; plans, organizes and works at
special events; composes flyers and press releases; oversees the
  volunteer appreciation program; develops special programs to target
specific groups of volunteers and performs other duties as needed.

  The job requirements are: at least 2 years experience in public
relations and/or bachelor's degree in related field; proven work history
of
  achieving and exceeding goals; computer literacy in word processing,
spreadsheet and database applications; ability to work with diverse
  populations and with both individuals and large groups; reliable
transportation with clean MVR to drive on agency business as needed.
  Hiring preference will be given to candidates who are bilingual in
Spanish.

  The following position at the Rape Recovery Center is open until JUNE
12.

  Position opening for a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) at the
Rape Recovery Center:
  The Rape Recovery Center is looking for a full-time Director of
Clinical Services w/ a clinical LCSW
  background and at least 2 years post to supervise small clinical team
and volunteers, conduct individual &
  group counseling, provide emergency intervention with on-call
responsibilities, develop programming and
  expand services.

  Experience in mental health, managing issues of violence, working with
sexual violence issues and victims,
  and supervisory program management preferred. Requires excellent
interpersonal, written and verbal
  communication skills. Computer literacy required. Bi-lingual
beneficial.
