                                    INTERGOVERNMENTAL PROGRAMS DIRECTOR

SALARY: $69,122 - $102,219 annually OPPORTUNITY: Open Competitive

JOB SUMMARY:
Responsible for managing and overseeing the coordination of legislative
and intergovernmental activities and programs; as well as maintaining
and improving astrong
presence of intergovernmental relations services at the Arizona
Legislature,Governor's Office, state and national executive agencies.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor's Degree in public administration,
political science or related field, and five years of experience working
with
statelegislators, political and local officials, including experience in
coordinating andadministering special projects and intergovernmental
programs. A Master's
Degree ispreferred. Any equivalent combination of training and
experience, which provides therequired knowledge, skills, and abilities,
is qualifying. Valid driver's
license required.
