analysis programs for State and local governments, working with agency

Actuarial Specialist $20.17 - $33.76 (55-74) Utah Department of Health,
Children's Insurance and Access Initiatives, Salt Lake City, UT. This
position is assigned to research, analyze and develop statistical models
from the Children's Health Insurance Plan (CHIP), Primary Care Network
(PCN) and Medicaid data base which categorizes, stratifies and assigns
priorities to risk factors for covered clients. Incumbent will array the
data in terms of demographics, eligibility components, age, sex,
severity of illness, etc., and use of data in conjunction with an
analysis of the various scopes of services to determine the value of
various Department products. Determine the number of children CHIP could
accept given budget, project costs and authorized budget expenditures.
Provide statistical and accounting data to obtain federal approval for
State of Utah's waiver. Conduct financial studies to assure
reimbursement rates and methodologies provide sufficient payment levels
for providers; establish capitation rates for Department's programs.
Project savings from implementation of new initiatives. Maintain areas
of the State Plan dealing with reimbursement and provide State
administrative rules. Determine contract rates with health plans, assist
in contract negotiations. JOB REQUIREMENTS/SKILLS: Knowledge of
principles, theories, and practices of accounting; statistical sampling,

Family Support Center Director Division of Child and Family Services,
Richfield office.  Salary $14.17 -$21.29/ hr.  This is a part time
position.  Duties: Implement, develop, direct and supervise the Sevier
County Family Support Center.  Develop Board of Directors for
facilitation of facility, administer program policies, supervise
services for the center, manage personnel and human resources policies

Starting salary will be based upon experience and education. Perform
highly specialized accounting activities requiring specialized training
and/or skills that are unique to the Utah State Hospital. Fully utilize
state computerized accounting system to insure proper functioning and
accountability of billing, collections and other fiscal operations.
Implement mechanisms and controls consistent with regulations, laws and
generally accepted accounting principles. Develop and interpret
financial reports detailing revenues, expenditures, inventory control
and other fiscal operations. Maximize Medicare/Medicaid collections by
prompt billing, obtaining eligibility and retaining eligibility, keeping

Human Resource Technician II Salary typically starts at $10.23 hourly
(Step Range: 30-45). Department of Human Services, Office of Human
Resources, 515 E 100 S, Salt Lake City, UT. Two positions available: one
full-time position, Monday-Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and one

Provide human resource and payroll functions for a large number of
employees located at the Office of Recovery Services. Explain basic

employees and supervisors. Assist Human Resource professionals with
recruitment to include: completing recruitment requests, posting job

Program Administrator I Salary: $19.63 to $29.48/hr (Step Range:

with the Department of Human Services, Division of Substance Abuse and
Mental Health, 120 N 200 W, Salt Lake City. Incumbent will oversee and
manage projects and staff in the Quality Assurance Unit to include
hiring personnel, training staff, assigning and monitoring work,

when necessary. Act as the liaison with the director's of local
providers in the delivery of quality assurance reports. Manage the
operations in the unit to include the monitoring of statewide contracts

and procedures. Incumbent will also collaborate on developing the
division's IT projects and activities to include the development of a
state and county management information system: treatment and assessment

of and experience in working with the local authority service delivery
