The International Foundation for Election Systems (IFES) is pleased to 
announce that applications are currently being accepted for the William 
and Kathy Hybl Democracy Studies Fellowship Program.  Established by 
IFES Chairman William Hybl, the program awards two four- to six-week 
fellowships exclusively to graduate students in Political Science, 
International Relations, Public Administration or other related fields 
of study from a college or university in Arizona, Colorado, Idaho, 
Montana, Nevada, New Mexico, Utah and Wyoming.


Hybl Fellows receive an $1,800 stipend and work alongside democracy 
professionals at IFES' international headquarters in the heart of 
downtown Washington, D.C.  Fellows will pursue their research on a 
variety of challenging and exciting international projects at the F. 
Clifton White Resource Center, widely regarded by policymakers and 
researchers as a leading collection of democracy-building material.
