Enoch City Treasurer Posting 2013

Qualifications: Associates degree in Office Management, preference given to applicant with Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Public Administration, or Financial related field.



Experience: In Accounts payable, General Ledger, Payroll, Cash receipting and human resource. Be proficient in Microsoft Office programs. Preference will be given to experience in a governmental accounting setting, and Caselle Clarity accounting software.



Duties and Responsibilities: Comply with Utah Statutory requirements of the City Treasurer, as well as comply with all aspects of the Money Management Council, and be bondable.

Prepare, track, and deposit all monies collected by all departments for Enoch City. Update all transactions to the General ledger, as well as post adjusting entries and close general ledger monthly.

Prepare and pay bi-weekly accounts payable for all City departments, oversee bi-weekly payroll, and verify funds availability, track and prepare reports, and close monthly.

Prepare and present Annual Government wide fund budgets, as well as the statutory amendments.

Track and monitor all Impact fees, submit reports and certifications to Utah State Auditor Office, as well as post detail transactions to the Utah State Transparency Website.

Prepare and complete with the Independent auditors for a yearly City wide audit.

Other duties as assigned.



Compensation: This is a salaried, non-exempt position starting up to $35,000 DOE
