One-on-one and small group instruction focuses on civics and language skills needed to successfully complete the interview and exam associated with the citizenship process. The Citizenship Program Coordinator reports to the Associate Director.

Primary Responsibilities:

 Manage large federal grant that provides citizenship preparation for eligible permanent residents, in partnership with two other non-profit agencies

 Collect and manage data for students and volunteers to track outcomes of the program, maintaining relevant databases and physical files

 Supervise the Citizenship Instructor, providing oversight and assistance for classes, curriculum, and other job duties

 Serve as liaison with Catholic Community Services and Holy Cross Ministries to coordinate legal services for participants in the citizenship program

 Serve as liaison with funders, including USCIS

 Supervise and support one-on-one volunteers through match process, regular communication, instructional materials, team-teaching, and observations.

 Follow best practices in student management for one-one-one students: administer pre and post assessments, conduct practice interviews, provide guidance in application process in partnership with CCS, and stay in regular communication with students about application status

 Develop and implement outreach plans to inform and engage adult immigrants and refugees who are eligible for the citizenship program

 Develop and maintain all partnerships with locations that host ESLC citizenship classes
